The ski season kicks off this weekend....if you are a World Cup ski racer that is! Solden Austria is hosting the annual October Men's and Women's Giant Slalom races that traditionally kick off the upcoming winter! We are finalizing our 2021 Winter season, which commences January 13 at the Osler Bluff Ski Club. We are incorporating Covid-19 compliant procedures to be in line with the private ski clubs and WE ARE EXCITED ABOUT SKIING AGAIN!! Registration will be available near the end of this month. Our 2020 Winter Program at Collingwood's private ski clubs has now wrapped up! What an incredible season we had. 6 consecutive Wednesdays of Snow School, busses, great Apres, a retro-day, end of season live musical entertainment with our very own talented members and 2 sensational optional days the past 2 Wednesdays. There are still opportunities to ski in March at the various clubs, and all members were sent an email with those details. Get out and enjoy winter...not even close to being over! If you are heading off to St. Anton or Steamboat Springs with us in March and are beginning to pack, Skiis and Bikes have great travel gear on sale, among other great ski gear! What a great Winter Wednesday at Olser Bluff Ski Club this past week! Incredible conditions, perfect weather, great ski friends, hundreds of smiling, happy Ski Bees members! Thank you Osler for the great day and for sharing your beautiful new lodge! Thank you to all of our incredible members for sharing your enthusiasm and welcoming our new members to our club! See you this Wednesday, January 22nd at Devil's Glen...and it's our annual apres party!

As we close out the 2019 season after a great kick-off trip to Sun Peaks in early December, we eagerly await the start of our 2020 Collingwood Wednesday Program and our St. Anton and Steamboat Springs trips! From our family to all the Ski Bees and their families, we wish you all a happy new year and we will see you at Craigleith Wednesday January 8th for our first day. As mentioned earlier, Ski Bees began an annual Student/Athlete Ski Racing Bursary this year, and it was awarded to Collingwood's Briar Jones. Briar sent us this video that I'm sure you will enjoy! Happy New Year!
