Signs that summer is drawing to a close...chimney fires and sad dogs at closed up trailers.

WooHoo! We are open for business again. To ensure the health of ourselves and our guests we will be following the cleaning guidelines and protocols given to us by NOTO (Nature & Outdoor Tourism Ontario). Please contact me if you would like more details.... We want to provide a safe environment for our staff and guests so we are also implementing the following protocols: First and foremost we are asking all guests to be socially responsible . This means practicing social distancing on the property, washing your hands often and making the difficult decision to cancel your vacation if you are exhibiting any signs of Covid 19. This year we are asking everyone to bring their own pillows and blankets. Cabins will be no frills, meaning beds will have sheets but no pillows and blankets, bathrooms will have hand towels and soap, kitchens will have towels and soap. There are no hangers, no knickknacks, no throw pillows. You will also need to bring your own deck chairs. The games room will be off limits, for now, so plan on bringing your own games and entertainment. The use of beach equipment will be by request only so that we can disinfect the equipment between use. I know this means hauling a lot of extras but it will help to keep all of our guests healthy this year. We will be encouraging everyone to pay by etransfer, but will still accept cash and credit card payments. And if you usually stop to see Keith at Tunnel Lake Trading Post you will need to be wearing a mask. I will be sending out a more detailed email to those customers who have a reservation. We do have a few weeks still available for July and August so give us a call. Looking forward to seeing everyone this summer! Laura and Brent

We hope everyone is staying healthy. Per the new extension of the state of emergency we will remain closed till June 30. We are contacting everyone in regards to their reservation and will make every effort to rebook them at a future date.... In the meantime Brent and I are continuing to make updates and improvements, as well as putting new protocols in place to ensure everyones safety when we reopen. Stay positive and

Update: We are currently taking reservations for check-in dates of May 12 and later, no deposits will be taken though until we have official guidance to open. Sort of a hope for the best, plan for the worst scenario. Brent and I are remaining hopeful for a return to normal this summer and are using this downtime to get the resort in the best shape possible for our valued customers.

To our valuable customers: Although we already do a very thorough job when cleaning the cabins, we have added some extra measures in light of recent health events. After our regular cleaning routine we are doing an extra wipe of all surfaces, handles, drawer pulls, door and appliance knobs, light switches, etc. with a Lysol wipe. Stay healthy everyone.

Special thanks to some young campers for making and leaving these awesome bird feeders. What a great craft!
