Our club will be closed as of 9:00 pm on December 25 to comply with current lockdown orders. We will reopen when the lockdown is lifted and Waterloo Region moves to Red status (or better). All memberships will be extended by the length of time we are closed.
With Waterloo Region now in Yellow status, we have introduced a new Workout booking sheet for the weights/cardio area. Please book ahead of time but you can also book when you come in if a time slot is available. You can also book more than one hour at a time if the slots are available. Maximum 6 slots per hour to allow adequate physical distancing in the weights/cardio area.

The club is now open! Here is a reminder of the COVID rules that everyone must follow: Do not come to the club if: You feel ill You have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or are in close contact with someone who has... You have been out of the country in the past 14 days You must sign in on arrival. All members must sign a new COVID waiver form. You must wear a mask while entering and leaving the building. You do not have to wear a mask while working out or playing squash. Sanitize hands on arrival and after your workout/game. Clean each piece of equipment after you are finished with it with the disinfectant provided. Please come ready to work out. Shoes must be changed to indoor shoes before working out. Maximum of five people working out in the weights/cardio area on the main floor. Maintain physical distancing at all times during your workout. Please limit your time in the locker room. Limit socializing before and after your workout/game. One person in the shower or washroom at a time. Sauna is closed. Squash players are encouraged to play others in their social bubble. No House League at this time. No guests at this time ---- members only. Finally, it is in all our best interests to keep the club COVID free. Monitor other members to ensure everyone follows these rules. Members who repeatedly ignore these rules will be barred from the club.

Great news! Southwood Fitness Club will reopen on August 17. The club will look a little different with equipment moved around. COVID-19 safety protocols will be in place and enforced. Members, please watch for more details through email updates. Looking forward to seeing you all back!
