"Will the club be staying open?" There have been plenty of phone calls and emails following the Stay At Home announcement yesterday. Our board of directors is reviewing all available information and as soon as a decision is made it will be communicated to the membership.

A Very Merry Christmas and a Healthy & Happy Holiday Season to all of our members and their families. Our ranges will be closed Christmas Day. Sadly there will be no Boxing Day shoot for 2020. All outdoor ranges will be open for club members from 26 December and we look forward to seeing you on the range!

Important Clay Target News 1. Trap & Skeet Fields will be unavailable Sunday 27 Sept. 2020 due to Silver Horseshoe League. 2. Guest Policy Changes: Clay Target guest limits have been reduced to 1 guest per membership. If you have an Individual or Family membership, it is 1 guest. 3. Fishing What about Rifle and Handgun? Rifle is continually waitlisted. Due to the high demand for this range from existing SCG members, you must be a member to be on the waitlist. The current wait time is approximately 15-18 months. Handgun take approximately 60 new members each year. This commences in December with the submission of signed application forms. 5 applicants are scheduled for the club safety course each month. Demand for this section is high and typically all course dates are full by January. The Indoor Range will reopen on 29 July, 2020 following the installation of the new backstop and subsequent pandemic disruptions. A few changes resulting from COVID-19 restrictions and recommendations: - A maximum of 4 persons inside the range at any one time - All members/guests using the range must wear an appropriate face covering while indoors.... Effectively immediately, SCG is pleased to welcome back guests of members (to a maximum of 2 guests per member). Guests must be accompanied by the member at all times.
