We are seeing many beautiful white kitchens with black accents trending these days. As stunning as this combo is sometimes we need to warm it up a bit to tone down the contrast. #powderroomgoals Due to Covid my house is getting quite the rearrangement! My husbands existing office is at the front of our house and since it has a powder room was also the guest room. With family finally coming to visit this summer (we all live in BC ) and him working full-time from home indefinitely it was time to rethink the function of our 1100sf home. Since I do most of my work from the showroom and won’t wake our guests at 7am to start work, guess who now gets ...the bigger office . My old office/storage room has been renovated over the last month with a bigger window, new drywall and light oak engineered wood floors ( via amazing @hardwoodsamurai ) that are throughout the rest of our house. It is looking great, so we hope to move him in this weekend and with this incredibly long lead up I get to decorate my new office and powder room Thankfully we already renovated his office a few years ago so it won’t take much to girly it up This powder room by @katemarkerinteriors is just the inspo I needed I definitely want a pretty vibe in the whole area! Kitchen Organization 101 I love me some good kitchen organization inserts. They can make your kitchen so much more functional. So I have decided to do a little series on my favourites which all started with the #spicedrawerinsert last week. 1. Pot rack pull-out This is one of my favourite tools for a small space. All you need to do is measure the width of your largest pot or pan and we make the cabinet fit. The insert is under $200 and fits so much! It can be added to a ca...binet at any time if you are just updating instead of redoing! 2. Magic Corner pull-out I always say this cabinet needs sound effects when it opens because clients LOVE IT It allows you to gain access to the dreaded corner with out using both side of the corner like a Lazy Susan would. HAPPY EARTH DAY Our beautiful earth is getting a little breath of needed fresh air these days! I hope we can all embrace the things we’ve improved on in this new normal moving forward. I personally have made a few adjustments that I want to adopt as habits. What have you changed in the last couple months that you want to continue? I am so thrilled to offer an eco-friendly cabinet line that is built in BC. Eco, green, eco-friendly are all terms that are generally heard and respected. But what does it mean?
