OPEN FOR XC in NOVEMBER!!! Without any frost the footing has been super and people have been XC schooling. Contact us if you want to get a bit more practice in before the next 6 months in an arena or just introduce a young horse to the water and banks. There is water in the water jump. Same fees as usual. $75 includes taxes.

Great day at Oakhurst fall horse trials. Congrats to these two who are so deserving. Little ten year old Ellie Van Sickle(my second cousin) on super pony Black Licorice who led all the way to win the Jr. PE. and congrats to junior Maya Cole on SCF homebred The Pagan who took home second in the Open PT. Kudos to Jr. Sophia Caparelli on Country Classic who won the PT dressage with one of the best scores of the day but got caught off guard by the new PT corner! Thanks to the Oakhurst Team for a good day.

SCHOOL HORSE OR PONY WANTED We provide a great home for your hunter or event horse/pony. We usually part lease our school animals so their life is more exciting and they have a little body to give them individual care. If you know anyone with an animal sitting around that would like some attention and exercise let us know. Free leases only and animal must have a slow canter.

A huge shoutout to the Stevens Creek team this weekend! We've had a rough week prepping for the show but we all stuck together and pulled through. And a big up ...to Anna Cole for killing it and placing second in Training SR! No matter what happens we stick by each other despite what may come our way. Special thanks to Teddie Laframboise, Moira De Ste Croix, the Stevens Creek staff and volunteers for the safe running of the show. Couldn't of done it without you!!

STEVENS CREEK HALLOWE'EN SCHOOLING HORSE TRIAL SUNDAY, OCTOBER 11th, 2020 (Rain date Oct. 12) Divisions-PE, E, PT, OT(Jr.& Open in each if entries warrant)... Due to demand by coaches we have decided to run a fun Hallowe'en schooling horse trial October 11, 2020. With the dearth of events this year due to Covid, riders are keen to get a few more competitions under their belt before the long cold winter. This is a great chance to try an upgrade. We are relaxed on cross country. For example if you want to run PT and do a few T jumps instead of PT that is fine but you will be marked for any disobediences, falls etc. COSTUME PRIZE-We will have a prize for the best costume of the day worn in any phase. PAIRS PRIZE-We plan a Cross Country Pairs Class on the E or PE courses and riders have the choice to take turns who goes first or follow. Riders may go in the pairs class and run an individual cross country but the pairs round must be after their individual horse trial round. This round will not be timed and there is no additional fee to go in the pairs class. Pairs class by itself no dressage or stadium is $100($50per horse). T,PT, E courses will be slightly shorter than the August horse trial so horses can have fun in the pairs too if they want. Price is $170 for all divisions including all fees and HST. Simply email the shows email and tell us the following: 1-Division, 2-Horse Name, 3-Rider Name, 4-Horse Owner and 5-make a payment by e-transfer payment to the shows email address. BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Leah Vrieling on Glendening Avis who won the BRUNO DELGRANGE bridle by winning the Open Preliminary with the lowest score of the top three divisions of OP, EV105 and Training at Stevens Creek Horse Trials this past Sunday. Leah started the day with a great test and a low dressage score of 23.60, had a double clean stadium and added only 1.20 time penalties from cross country to finish with a great score of 24.80. It could not have happened to a nicer person and a positive contributor to our local eventing community. Congratulations Leah. Special thanks to Jacques Ferland and Bruno Delgrange Saddles Canada for the donation of the bridle and their ongoing annual support of our horse trial.
