We dusted off a hwy sign that has been patiently waiting to be installed. It finally had it's chance this past Friday (Jan. 22nd/16). With the extra help from Randy, Claudine, and Gilles, we were able to install our hwy sign over our lunch hour. Our hats off to our friends; they helped make it happen big time by using Randy's truck and trailer to transport the sign, his ladder, level and tools as well as Gilles big ladder and his tools. We are so thankful and grateful that we have amazing friends. They're very proud of their work! Well done! Great team!

A big thank you to Al and his long time friends who stayed with us after safely completing their 33rd Annual Canoe trip. Always a great visit with these guys! Lots of good laughs and stories about their adventure. It was a terrific time once again. Thanks, guys!

We want to thank John Xin, a returning guest, who brought 11 of his closest friends to stay at the Teddy Bear Bed and Breakfast. They stayed at our place last night to get some well deserved rest before embarking on yet another adventure with RiverRun Rafting and Wilderness Resort in Foresters Falls.(http://www.riverrunrafting.com). Our guests enjoyed a scrumptious breakfast including pancakes, locally made maple syrup, veggie quiche, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, freshly baked croissants, fresh fruit salad, coffee, tea and orange juice. Thanks for staying with us again, John (and all your friends)!

The 12th Anniversary for the Chick Fest was once again a wonderful spiritual (rather spirited!!) weekend. Always lots of laughter from some beautiful souls who gather once a year to reunite; to catch up; to share some stories, some laughs, some tears and some fascinating insights. We enjoyed some great food with thanks to Barb Sockovie (delicious rhubarb squares/lemon cookies/parfaits), Andrea and Di stepping up to the plate and creating a feast for all of us. Thanks to An...drea Connell for pitching in to do the Tarot Card Readings. Normally, Patti-Rose Brice does Tea Leaf Readings for the girls, but due to family health challenges she had to pass this year. Our hearts and prayers are with her and John. Our new neighbour, Cindy, took our group photo, which was a great help. All in all, it was great fun. One of our favourite groups that Di and I look forward to having every year!!
