With Manitoba being in its entirety sent to the red alert level for Covid a quick email tonight.... With the newest restrictions being placed on Manitoba we have changed the limits for entry to the warehouse to no more then 6 guests at a time, of which we are restricting the max party size to 2. We do encourage to just send one member of the family if picking up when possible. Hours open will be on our website, please check before coming down as these may change week to week depending on the current situation. As well use common sense if the warehouse looks busy out front please just wait for one guest to depart before coming in. Instructions to entry will be posted on the front door upon arriving. We will also be doing curb side pick up on all hours the warehouse is posted open for those wishing to not enter. As well we will have additional curb side pick up options on other days beyond those. We just ask for curb side that you try to send in orders the day before pick up. We will do our best to process these quotes as fast as possible but may take up to a day to get this done with back logs. A reminder that fish are handled on a time stamp basis from when we receive emails gaining first priorities. So if cant make it down till the next day or warehouse not open for another day please feel free to email us orders to confirm. With Manitoba entering the red alert level we are also anticipating huge cuts to whatever flights we have left leaving the province. We will do our best to send out orders as fast as possible for those out of province but some routes are now closing to us for this month, others are not being able to reach each day. We will confirm flights for each order prior to departure and go over what options there are. We will use this bit of a down time though to continue with our expansion for when a new "normal" returns we will have a lot more capacity within the Canadian warehouse. Stay Safe! Spencer

Sorta like a jumbo sized firemouth cichlid that is quite a bit more peaceful then other fish from this part of the world. Ninja wood cats - Tatia musaica Nice sized Melanotaenia herbertaxelrodi - Boring name of the yellow rainbow fish but one of he prettiest ones out there still. With Winnipeg being moved to the red level restrictions starting on Monday we ask that you check the hours of the warehouse on our website before coming down incase anything is to change. Currently we are anticipating keeping the same reduced walk in hours during the week we have during this past month. We just ask to keep groups to 4 or less and if it appears to be busy when arriving at the warehouse please just wait for one group of customers to leave before entering. We also will be continuing curbside pick up for those who do not wish to come in but still wish to pick up fish and supplies. We do ask that you send us your order at least the day before coming down. We can not guarantee with how busy we are currently we will be able to do these orders from the phone in the parking lot. Highlights of which are;... - Bigger flagtail prochilodus - Kyburzi tetras - Smaller Crenicichla sp. venezuela (ends up being a very big and active pike cichlid, is rare for us to get them this size) - Big farlowella - Nice sized L129 - Colombian zebra plecos Next up probably will be African cichlids. We have received a number of orders recently, highlights of which are;... Nice breeder sized blue neon peacocks Breeder size OB gold zebras A number of Corydoras species Our latest plant order which has a little more variety then normal on it and a number of Bucephalandra species. With Winnipeg going back with restrictions Monday due to covid we are announcing the following for the walk in traffic for the warehouse. For the next four weeks minimum we will move the hours open to the public to Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. (with exception of Tuesday, October 13th we will be open on the holiday Monday instead on the 12th) This will allow us to focus on our expansion and maintenance on the three remaining days. I have as well expanded Thursday and Saturday's hours to help accommodate. As of Tuesday this week we do ask visitors to the warehouse stay to groups of 4 or less in your party. Upon entering sanitize your hands at the desk, have face masks on and follow all guidelines put forth by the province for Winnipeg and surrounding areas. A reminder as well we do continue to do curb-side pick up. We as well can do it as well on days we are closed to the public just send us a note asking for specific times and we can confirm if it is doable for that time.
