Check out our two hip hop classes with @sharon_lee8 ! Every Monday we have a Kids class from 4:30-5:30pm and a Teens class from 5:45-7:15pm. Sharon is an emerging professional artist who has trained with the best in the street dance community and industry. She is currently a member of Immigrant Lessons, an art, dance, fashion based collective that is pushing the boundaries of street dance. In Vancouver, she has trained under Kim Sato, and is one of the original members of ...twofourseven Company. Sharon has also trained in New York with Buddha Stretch, Henry Link, Caleaf, Majory Smarth, and so many more original creators of hip hop and house dance. She’s also trained in Los Angeles, and in Europe with many known industry choreographers. Sharon’s training has lead her to work with local and international artists and choreographers such as A Tribe Called Red, Mandy Moore, Christopher Scott and has also opened doors to perform at many high profile events such as Juno Fest, Fringe Manila,TED talks, and Takashi Murakami’s preview Art Gallery Night/Birthday Bash.

We were very excited to welcome all our students back to the studio this weekend with our new renovations and COVID-19 protocols! It's been a long 6 months since we were able to be in the studio and now we are very happy to be able to continue our love for dance in-person (with the extra distancing). To help keep everyone safe, we've made a few changes: a newly renovated third studio to ensure classes have enough space to physically distance, physical distancing markings in all the studios, additional washrooms, use of face coverings for teachers and students, hand sanitizing stations, temperature checks, and the use of a hospital grade disinfectant to disinfect the studio between each class. Stay safe!

Our company dancer, Emma Lee, will be performing her award-winning solo, Flower at the @smallstage.ca studio at 8pm tonight, June 17.
