It has been awful to see the impact that #COVID has had on so many of the small businesses that we know and love in #HamOnt and sadly we are no exception. We will be remaining closed until the end of October 2020. We wish it could be different. Stay safe, everyone.

Once again (and hopefully for the last time), we are updating our COVID-19 status. At this time, we are canceling all reservations until the end of August. With luck, we will be able to welcome the world to Hamilton again in September.

Although we are unable to accommodate any human guests at present, we are thrilled to announce that we are currently hosting a robin’s family in our yew. I couldn’t get any closer to take the shot, unfortunately. Mama and daddy robin have been flying back and forth with worms for a few days now, so the eggs must have hatched! #hamont #hostel #hostellife #birdhostel

We’re sorry to say that we are now canceling all reservations and remaining closed until the end of June. We wish we could say we were optimistic about re-opening in summer, but it is looking unlikely as more events are canceled. Stay strong, stay healthy, everyone. We are sorry to say that we have extended our closure until the end of May. We hope to be able to reopen in June, but of course we will act on the best advice of our government and medical professionals. We wish all our friends, neighbours, and past and future guests all the very best of health.

Snails don’t care about social distancing.

Unfortunately, we have had to make the difficult decision to temporarily close our doors. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, and in the best interests of our guests, our staff, and our neighbours, we feel that this is the only way forward. At this time, we are cancelling all reservations until the end of April. This may be extended if the virus is not contained. We hope you understand and that this does not inconvenience you too much. We wish you and yours the best of health.

We would like to reassure our guests that Hamilton Guesthouse at the Pring is open, and has no plans to close during the Coronavirus (COVID19) pandemic. Please rest assured that, if you need to cancel your reservation due to cancelled events, we will NOT charge you anything. We have been assured by our online booking partners that they will also we waiving all fees for cancellations. We are taking extra steps to ensure that surfaces are kept as germ-free as possible.
