YES. Sure some foods can give your milk a boost but nothing will ever be as effective as proper support, information and most importantly milk removal (ie frequently nursing or pumping) Did you know doulas are excellent supporters of breastfeeding? We offer community resources and education during pregnancy and postpartum, evidenced based knowledge and training, hands on experience, and many of us have personal experience as well.

Wise words! Is there anything else you would add or take away from this graphic? Setting boundaries for guests and those unhelpful helpers?... Plan for animals? Postpartum is a vulnerable time, what would help you feel like you have some control?

We keep getting well kept strollers of all kinds! If you have a little one or one on the way stop in here before you spend on a new one. Its worth the time and the drive. One minute west of the Granville St Roundabout.

It’s been 1736 days and counting since my first breastfeeding journey began. . It hasn’t always been easy. In fact some days especially in the beginning it’s was absolutely exhausting and terrible. . But it has always been wonderful. Getting to watch my children ease into the comfort of my body, for hunger, comfort, sleep, and all the in-betweens.... . It’s the root of my motherhood, it’s helped me learn how to parent, helped me learn how to help others in parenting, and why I chose the career path I am on. . Breastfeeding has changed my life in more ways than I ever knew possible. . For anyone unsure or struggling, know it can get better with the proper support. Never quit on a bad day. And no matter how long your journey with breastfeeding is, you’ll never regret the opportunity to snuggle and nourish your child in ways no one else can offer them. . HAPPY WORLD BREASTFEEDING WEEK!. . If you’re breastfeeding/have how did the experience feel for you? How long did your journey go?. . If you’re expecting and thinking about breastfeeding or currently breastfeeding and struggling please feel free to message or leave a comment and I will help support you with resources & knowledge. . #worldbreastfeedingweek #nursing #milkymama #tandemnursing #toddlernursingisnormal See more
