The Tennis Academy coaches take Covid very seriously and always wear masks even during instruction. The only exception is when a coach is performing physical activity by hitting with a client during a private lesson and they are maintaining a distance of at least 30 feet. #whyistennisclosed

The Tennis Academy has a daily professional cleaning service that cleans and disinfects with health canada approved products, but we also disinfect high touch areas EVERY HOUR throughout our regular business days. In addition to that we purchased the same fogging equipment that is used by Edmonton and Pearson International airports and we have a twice daily fogging throughout the facility with organic safe disinfectant, Ultrlyte DIN 02362546 #whyistennisclosed #tennisissafe

To ensure safety during tennis, our players are required to bring and use their own can of ‘marked’ tennis balls when playing with someone outside their household. Players are also sanitizing hands before, during and after play using hand sanitizer stations on each court. #whyistennisclosed #tennisissafe

When the Provinicial government disallowed indoor fitness programs on Nov 13th due to Covid restrictions, Angelina Claughton and Sonia scrambled to put together their programs virtually allowing kids in our competitive programs to continue to work toward their fitness goals. You might have already heard about the Calgary masks bylaw, mask are mandatory indoors starting Aug 1st. This means that everyone will be required to wear a mask upon entering The Tennis Academy and when leaving the courts to exit the facility. Face coverings are not required while engaging in physical activity. We are encouraging all patrons to practice this safe habit effective immediately.
