Aletha c. 1901-1919 Did you know this propeller driven steamboat was a ferry in Hamilton during WW1 until 1916? It’s true! Before that, her route often took her to the Bay of Quinte, Trenton, Upper St. Lawrence River and on beautiful extrusions throughout the 1000 islands. She even had 12 staterooms for her lovely guests! The black and white picture is in 1913 at Mississauga Park and the colour picture is in Picton, ON in 1910! ...
