Thrift Love

Found these beautiful navy @ninewest ankle boots at @valuevillage_thrift a few weeks ago and my mother put them away for my birthday! They are perfect for days when black is too harsh but navy blue seems softer. If you're wondering, yes I have a lot of blanket scarf ponchos!

I think ponchos are my latest wardrobe staple piece. Made this one this morning out of a $5 blanket scarf! It's just the right amount of coverage and warmth this time of year needs.

Is it just me or does life feel better when you hit the gym to start your day? Even though it feels like -16c today I'm in good spirits!

I've been dying to try these recently thrifted pants I found on marketplace... The post said they were an American Eagle large (which could be any size) but then when I brought them home the label said 16... Hmm I've spent two days so far trying to alter them down to an 8, they're close but I still have more tweaks to structure the legs better. A work in progress!

I got this absolutely beautiful, super soft coat for my birthday today, thanks mom & dad! I tried it on at @shop.therevolvingdoor a few weeks ago and forgot all about it!

Ohhh dark and rainy November Mondays... Anyone having winter blues already? My best suggestion is not to try too hard, don't get frustrated... Stick to what you know that works. Keep life simple.
