Nova Scotia public school students will have an extended holiday break out of an abundance of caution. The last day of classes will be Dec. 18 and classes resum...e Jan. 11. School-based staff will be returning to schools on Jan. 4 for five days of professional learning. Principals, teachers, support staff, specialists and early childhood educators will be in school learning in areas such as inclusive education, social emotional learning and technology. -- Les élèves des écoles publiques de la Nouvelle-Écosse auront un congé des fêtes prolongé, par excès de prudence. Les cours se termineront le 18 décembre et reprendront le 11 janvier. Le personnel scolaire retournera à l'école le 4 janvier pour cinq jours de perfectionnement professionnel. Les directeurs d'école, les enseignants, le personnel de soutien, les spécialistes et les éducateurs et éducatrices de la petite enfance seront à l'école pour du perfectionnement professionnel dans les domaines tels que l'éducation inclusive, l'apprentissage socioémotionnel et la technologie.
