We are excited to announce VP Records new release - Dancehall Anthems - produced by our alumnae Jeremy Harding! It’s a set of new recordings of classic Reggae and Dancehall Anthems from the golden era of the 70s and 90s. Jeremy’s thoughts on the album: Originally, this was going to be a VP Records 40th anniversary project, but it expanded, as I wanted to pay tribute to the history of dancehall in the broadest sense, reconsidering iconic songs and particularly the root...s of the genre, including what played heavily on Sound Systems when I was growing up. I wanted to give the artists, new and veterans, the chance to put their spin on these classics, Jeremy studied Recorded Music Production at TREBAS Montreal 1989 - 1991, holds a degree from the Royal School Of Music London and is adjunct faculty in Reggae Studies at the University of the West Indies He is one of the first DJ-turned-producers, now a an established career path in the music industry.
