Hey guys! As per the restrictions released yesterday, Tribe will be putting a pause to our in-studio classes for the next two weeks to minimize exposure and contact. We’ll be switching to ONLINE CLASSES immediately! We are excited and proud to now be able to host effective, fun, and results-driven workouts virtually. They’ll be hosted by a team of certified trainers with a wide spectrum of diverse skillsets that includes bodybuilding, physique sculpting, HIIT, fat loss, weig...ht loss, stamina and endurance, athletic conditioning, core strengthening, weights, postural correction, and much more! Everyone is welcome to join our semi-private classes for a much lower rate than in-person. DM for info! We are here to support our community and your healthy immune system! What a journey it’s been!! One of our FAV Tribers, Anna has been training with us for over 3 years since 2017. At first it was once a week, missing a class here and there for vacays etc.... Then, Anna started to go on hikes, try out other types of fitness classes, and come more often. She became stronger and started working out on her own, cutting out alcohol, and eating much less meat, sweets and other unhealthy foods. She’s now getting active 4-5 days a week and looking SO MUCH SLIMMER AND SO POWERFUL!! Let’s be real - we all want a quick fix in a matter of weeks if not days. But long lasting transformation takes MONTHS of making choices for true long-term health instead of short-term transient enjoyment We are so so so proud of you and all you’ve become Anna, you are truly so strong from the inside out!!! Another incredible Tribe transformation!! Lotus managed to shed almost 8% in body fat since only May, despite Covid and having 2 young kids! Lotus is a perfect example of: Weight being much less important than we think. On the right, she’s actually 1.2 pounds heavier, and yet her physique is leaner, fitter, and more compact. Lean muscle takes up less space than fatty adipose tissue... Put in the work and show up every week, and the results will follow. Focus on acclimatizing to the system, routine, program - whatever you call your weekly must-do’s - and don’t worry about weight or inches. They will inevitably change as you continue along the process Working out improves energy levels, lifts mood, and ofc builds strength! Lotus used to have to take a nap midday bc all her household chores and errands were so exhausting. Now she’s so healthy and energetic that naps are no longer necessary, and she’s taken on two part time jobs! Weights do NOT make women bulky!! Lotus has lost roughly 1.5-2 inches from most places on her body, PLUS her anterior pelvic tilt has been majorly fixed from a stronger core! Not to mention way more muscle definition on the hamstrings and booty!! It’s never too late to make a POSITIVE CHANGE!!! HIP THRUSTS 1.5x HER BODYWEIGHT!! 165 lbs Angel started her fitness journey with us back in March of 2018. She was a TOTAL beginner to weight training. She wasn’t overweight, but was skinny fat - no muscle tone, flabby, no strength or power in her limbs or core, poor joint stability, poor stamina She had just given birth to her second son right before joining, which as we all know is one of the hardest times to bounce back from. She comes to train all the way from Sur...rey (We’re in Richmond)! That’s DEDICATION at its finest Now 2.5 years later, she’s slimmed down her postnatal belly, maintained body fat % below 20% (below 24% for women is considered healthy, below 20% is fit/athletic), and has integrated at-home workouts into her weekly routine. First workout together!! Brigid & Louis kicking butt over the weekend They have 1 year until their wedding! Brigid actually used to train with us back in 2016/2017. Now she’s taking it way more seriously bc of those goals, plus, ya know, a healthy life in general! As we get older, we naturally lose muscle mass and bone and joint density. That’s why it’s extra important to add some weights to our weekly routine if we want to keep our metabolism up, have strength to do o...ur everyday things, and not exhibit signs of aging prematurely! BIG NEWS We are SO EXCITED to introduce the newest certified PT to our team! Big warm welcome to CARMEN, a powerhouse of a woman and so inspiring in her own transformation journey Carmen started training with us as a client on Boxing Day of 2018. She was tired and overworked from her 80 hr weeks in the film industry. We immediately vibed and connected deeply in a shared love of crystals and holistic beliefs.... Carmen herself became inspired to transition to predominantly plant based after she started her fitness journey with us. From a combo of her classes with us and following a custom bodybuilding plan I made for her, she went from being over 37% body fat to 17.7% - a drop of 20% BF and a TOTAL TRANSFORMATION in body and mind! After months of experiencing all the transformative benefits that a healthier lifestyle can bring, she became inspired to pursue a PT certification herself. Now she’s spreading the love of health and fitness as a role model in the industry! My intuition told me there would be a future for her at Tribe once she became certified, and it was not wrong. We are blessed to have her passionate and encouraging energy alongside Tia and I, especially with her love of HIIT!
