Engineering PhD Candidate, Chris Rausch has spent several years conducting research in the construction industry, where he was most recently in charge of automating virtual design and construction workflows at a laser-scanning firm in Toronto. Chris returned to Waterloo Engineering to complete his PhD, and his current research is focused on developing automated solutions to address ongoing challenges faced in adaptive building reuse, prefabrication and off-site construction.
