Here is the recent Ontario ministry of health Covid-19 screening tool for children in school and child care. You can use it to help decide whether or not to send your child to school or daycare. Note that these guidelines are changing almost daily. We will try to keep up with them and continue to post our own advise as they change Some very important points :... If your child had runny nose, headache, sore throat, diarrhea, or malaise he or she must stay home and isolate until getting better or improving. Please stay home and isolate and make sure new or worsening symptoms aren’t developing Your child should not go back to school unless he or she is improving It is always best and safest for your child and for others in his or her class and community to stay home and isolate until you are sure he or she has shown definite signs of improvement If your child is worsening or not improving or developing new symptoms stay at home and isolate consider testing and contact us if symptoms seem serious If your child has travelled outside Canada in the previous 14 days, has had close contact with a Covid-19 contact or has been directed by a public health official to isolate then he or she must stay home and isolate and be tested as directed by public health and contact us if signs of worsening symptoms https://pedsontario.us7.list-manage.com/track/click
