My grandpa invented the SELFIE STICK in 1930 and here's proof! He was an avid amateur photographer, always buying the latest gadgets and gizmos. He was also a creative engineer -- when he needed something that wasn't yet on the market, he'd make it himself. For this shot, he affixed his camera to the end of a stick and used the timer setting. With Wayne Gretzky's restaurant now closed to make room for yet another condo. I thought I would share one of the early menus. Chris Klugman was the first executive chef back in 1994. I don't know if this was the original menu but pretty close. The famous meatloaf is missing but grandma's perogies are on there. This was the menu I used and accidentally / on purpose left with. 'The Great One' burger with cheese was $6.99, during the last week it was $18.99. - Credit: Mike Allder.
