As the weather gets warmer, Waldenway Canine & Kitty Camp has... beachfront lake living for your pampered pooches! Waldenway is one of our partners who assist us with temporary placements, grooms, and nail trims. Sometimes there are dogs that need to be placed with no foster available. Waldenway has always been there for us to help us with these animals to keep them safe until they can move forward to their adopting rescue or foster placements. Waldenway has openings for big or small dogs. If your dog needs a little get away for a few days and a groom, give them a call. See more

We have about 30 dogs to post that have come in. But this is more important tonight. We wanted to Thank Waldenway Canine & Kitty Camp for all that they do and ...all they have done for our dogs. Owner Rob and staff stayed up until 1:00 to help us with dogs incoming that needed a place to stay. ****We are asking our followers for a favor.***** As you know, with most people at home, some are not sending their dogs to Waldenway Camp. This effects the business that has worked so hard to keep your pets safe and groomed while on vacation. They have had to lay off many employees (25). Your favorite dog walkers, caregivers, and groomers are now out of work. THEY NEED YOU NOW. Try a few days camp for your pooch to enjoy trail walks, beach lake swimming, a bath and groom or maybe just a nail trim while they enjoy a stay at camp. Within the last week in our grooming shop, we have found quite a few ticks on some of our furry clients, including deer ticks. Lyme disease, also known as Lyme borreliosis, is an infectious disease caused by the Borrelia bacterium which is spread by ticks. It is transmitted by the bite of an infected tick of the genus Ixodes. Ixodes scapularis, commonly known as the deer tick or black-legged tick, are most known for the concern. In most cases, an infected deer tick must remain attached to their host for at least 36-48 hours for the bacteria to transmit. Please speak with your veterinarian to select the best tick prevention option for you and your pets! The Waldenway Team
