The Veget...able Package contains a mix of root vegetables, frozen vegetables, fresh greens, and fruit for $40. Or choose from one of three Meat Packages (Chicken, Beef or Pork) $60 each. All the ingredients for a tasty salad. Greens, radishes, baby carrots from Forman Farms, watermelon radish from Patchwork Gardens and our own farmhouse roasted tomato vinaigrette.

Oops, there was a mistake on the recent recipe that we included in our newsletter so we want to make sure everyone gets the correct recipe. Here is the correct recipe with curry powder included and the carrot amount corrected. We apologize for the mistake, but on the plus side, we are happy to know that people are reading what we are putting out there! You can order everything you need to make this in one simple package on our online order form. Here are the instructions for... those that might have missed it: Instructions: 1.Heat oil in lge saucepan or medium soup pot over medium heat. Stir in onion and celery. Cook till the onion is soft and translucent, approx 8 minutes. 2. Stir in curry powder and then add carrots, apple and bay leaf. Stir well over medium heat for 2 minutes and then add broth. Bring mixture to a low boil then reduce the heat to low. cover tightly and simmer until the carrots and apples are tender approx 20 minutes. 3 . Remove bay leaf then transfer the soup solids to a food processor and adding about 1/2 of the broth leaving the other in the pot. Process to a smooth puree. Pour the puree back into the soup. 4. Reheat and season with salt, pepper and top with parsley. Enjoy! See more

We have a good supply of Gourmet Super Sweet Corn, yummy Sweet Potatoes and still lots of field fresh Tomatoes available here at the store 7 days a week!

After an evening of weeding I got to enjoy the amazing moonlight while walking through the gardens.

Please note that we are temporarily out of Sweet Corn while Corn Acre Farms (Dad & Mom) wait for the next field to ripen. We still have lots of other vegetables to choose from. It's a perfect time to get some yummy sweet potatoes and squash or to stay indoors and do up some preserves.

Something new to add from the amazing list of veggies from Corn Acre Farms. Sweet potatoes are ready and they are delicious . For our seafood Friday selection today we have fresh halibut, mussels and rainbow trout.
