As you may know Covid changed our world in every way. At WCCS we had to change the layout of our store to safely accommodate our customers which limits our class space. As artisans and crafty teachers we were blessed to have the opportunity to lease space that will safely allow us to conduct classes, offering individual work stations with social distancing. Well, here we go... later this month we will be announcing a line up of fun crafty classes, featuring polymer clay creations, paint classes, malas, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, pendulums, holiday crafts and so much more. If there is a craft you would like to make please message us and we will do our best to make it happen!

We have great news!! We are now the proud tenants of 104-688 Granderson Road! (2 doors down from our store) Why? You may ask. We realized that with the current situation that is no way we could hold classes for more than 2 people in our space so, when the opportunity came up we couldnt not go for it!... We now have lots of space for teaching and an additional treatment room. Our plan is for this to become a community space. All or part of the space will be available for rent to other teachers and practitioners. We have space to hold Birthday Parties and Friends nights. If you are interested in finding out more drop us a line at [email protected] Stay tuned for upcoming class schedules!

What does the weekend bring for WCCS? 3 Card Reading for the weekend, and it looks like a good one! Witches Tarot.... Card one now, card two the tone of the weekend and card three closing the weekend Card one Temperance Well, an angelic presence it would seem. This card says to me that all is coming into balance. She has one foot in the water and one on the land. The liquid in the cups is being shared. A rainbow to me means beauty after the storm. All in all, I see a time of balance and peace. We may be coming out of a turbulent week or be struggling with an issue but the weekend brings balance and beauty. What the books say we could be dealing with a volatile situation and may need to temper our thoughts and actions to find balance. We should not choose but take all into consideration and be guided with what feels right to you. It also shows you connecting with your guides and angels. Maybe you will see a sign in some way, perhaps form a person who has been sent to you. It could also mark the beginning of a project/journey. What you imagine you can create. Card two Nine of cups We are welcoming and sharing a table with people. Many cups are set out and ready for whoever arrives. There is food on the table to share. We seem to be in the kitchen and as we all know the best parties end in the kitchen! What the books say.this card foretells a dream come true. Joy form prosperity, generosity and optimism along with parties and entertainment. New romance and rewarding friendships. In the spirit of sharing, there is now an easy connection with others as projects begin and existing work becomes more rewarding. Time to laugh and appreciate all you have. If you are starting a new project or an idea this card indicates its growth, listen to your intuition. Card three Eight of pentacles At first glance this would appear to be about counting money, but I think it is more about appreciating the wealth around you. There is much more in this card than just money. The book represents knowledge, the candle I think is seeing and then the raven. He is my boy (girl) I feel a great draw to the raven and they represent connection to me, to the past, to the community and to the elements. What the books say..Money is on the way often as a result of previous efforts or decisions. There may be an offer to learn new skills that will be profitable in the long run. The card represents a need for a logical and diligent approach to projects. It reveals you as hardworking and trustworthy.

I need to spend more time getting to know some of my tarot and oracle decks, so I am going to choose them to do some daily cards and see how we communicate! Comments are very welcome. Question What does the WCCS community need to know today? Witches Tarot Nine of Wands... My immediate thought when I saw this card was that we can go ahead and move forward, the community has all our backs. You see her forging forward with the sun rising behind her and the other wands tall and strong behind her. The phrase that comes to mind is Yeah! Lets do this. You see the shadows of the wands on the ground along with lush grass and spring flowers but she is looking straight ahead, perhaps not appreciating what there is around her or confident that she has what she needs to move forward. She has one foot strongly planted but the other one is taking a determined step forward. We dont have to leave behind what we already have in order to move forward, we are supported, and it is a new day! All I hear when I see this card is Im still standing by Elton John and have a fellow reader to thank for putting that in my head. What the books say..We are in a strong position having fought long and hard to get here. Some heavy challenges have been endured. Keeping on our toes all the time can be exhausting and we need to use our energy wisely. The card also shows the fine line between being defended and being defensive. While we should establish and be aware of our boundarys, defensiveness keeps you in a negative mindset. Dont fear rejection or criticism, you have worked hard and your efforts will pay off.

I asked - What is in the cards for WCCS this week? Bonefire Tarot Justice.... Major card coming at us here. This is what it says to me - keep balance in your life, dont bury your head and ignore what is going on or turn a blind eye to something because you dont want to see it, all views are important. The card says balance and fairness. To me this means that all angles must be weighed and considered. It also prompts me to think of legal issues, contracts etc. Her scales look like offering plates, if you add something to one side you must balance the offering in some way or maybe give something up to create that balance. Roses are beauty and promise but watch out for those thorns, in this card they do not appear prominent, but they are always there. The card shows us that all is possible if we are honest and authentic. Also, on this card we see the heart chakra. The obvious interpretation of this is love and compassion but what stands out for me is the lotus. Anyone who knows me is aware that I have a appreciation of the lotus, that ability to grow into something beautiful from the sludge at the bottom of the pond. To thrive where others may not. And the books say.. All our thinking goes nowhere unless it develops out of a clear vision for the truth. Legal issues concerning property are resolved, contracts are signed, and you can make progress. Find the right balance between work and relationships. At work you may be tested but the outcome is positive, negotiations are successful. Financially we are coming to the end of a frugal period and money matters are set to improve. Her wisdom message With the right values, reward comes. Well there you have it!
