WINGS West Kelowna and WINGS Kelowna- Rutland, suffered terrible loss. Our beloved kitchen worker, Dan Bradford, has left us to a better place where he can be p...ain free after months of suffering. He was a hard worker and we will all miss his incredible positivity. I remember the first time I met Dan and I just loved his incredible ability to make us all feel like our problems are nothing because of his genuine zest for life. This man loved his family and was so proud to bring them in to where he worked to "show off". I would repeatedly ask him if he needed to go home and his response was always "Brent, I'm good, let's rock this". He was always so proud to tell me how he was working on "the mansion" on his days off and all I could think was "Dude, you just need to relax!" That wasn't in his vocabulary. We will have a warm beer (that's how he liked it) at our restaurant in West Kelowna in honour of you, my friend. You were the best of the best as far as humans go. You raised some wonderful children and that is your legacy. Your son is one of our best employees and that credit totally goes to you as a father. Cheers to you my friend, my heart is heavy. Everyone that knew you is blessed to have spent time with you. Those that didn't know you are truly missing out. Cheers my friend and rest in peace. See more

CANUCKVID-19 [ kah-nuk-vid-nahyn-teen ] Verbgreat excuse to miss work - potentially a career limiting affliction but, at the same time, a totally valid excuse to leave work early or call in sick and enjoy the Vancouver Canucks game on the big screens at Wings in Rutland or Wings in West Kelowna. The victim can often work the first portion of the day but report to Wings by 3 pm Friday Aug 14. The victim often partakes in happy hour beverages and game day features during the game in order to feel fantastic. This condition re-appears at various time and coincides with Vancouver Canucks playoff games. Some conditions don’t always cause absence from work the day of the game but can cause grogginess on days following the affliction. Totally curable with the hoisting of a Stanley Cup by the Canucks.
