Changing our brain by opening our p.ussy As our body opens our brain opens too Our fascial matrix is a 3D spider web completely connected throughout our body... A shift in one area of the body creates a ripple effect through out the whole matrix In my NECTAR sessions we learn our v.ulva and v.aginal anatomy and then we map our anatomy with our fingers. Supporting to create new neural connections from brain to our p.ussy and our p.ussy to our brain. Working with our tissue in a slow and deeply intentional way, using our hands to contact our flesh, staying with our bodies and breath throughout the experience, we open our body and brain to new possibilities. As we open our body to possibility we open up on all levels to transformation we may have never imagined. We open our body to release what it is ready to release and invite in endless opportunity in our tissue for blood flow, energy flow, nerve communication, lymph flow. Endless opportunity in our mental, emotional, and spiritual bodies as well. Next NECTAR session is this Thursday 5pm PST space is limited to keep our session more intimate. When I first started working with my current mentor I had zero idea what it truly was that I signed up for. I thought I was just signing up to learn how to take my work online. What I actually signed up for is a deep dive immersion into the Feminine. A mentorship into true embodiment soul led living breathing being in this world. A total unwinding and death process of all my egoic patterns and identities. ... And fuck me it’s been work. I’ve hated her and the process. Said to myself why the fuck am I putting myself through all this so many times. And resisted and fought what my soul called me to do with her work. Right now I’m in a massive unwinding of my hustler. I am a master at will powering and forcing my way through life. That way of living has got me a long way in life but it’s also sucked the motherfucking juice right out of me. My hustler, egoic, I can do everything myself, I don’t need anyone, forceful self is dying a slow and gripping death. Watching this part of me die is totally wild to me. I never imagined I’d be going where I’m heading. And to be honest I have zero clue where I’m going but I’m surrendering to my soul and allow this thing to move through me fully. I’m getting out of my own fucking way, to allow the bigger thing captain this ship. Part of this change is selling my home in Calgary. And moving back to Saskatoon to live with my dad for the rest of this year. I’m taking a much needed sabbatical from all hands on work. It’s been 16 years of being a full time manual therapist. And as much as I love it, I’m exhausted from it. And with that big boundary here Saskatoon do not ask me to do a session and do not ask when I’ll be back doing sessions. The only way to work with me will be through NECTAR sessions or my community FLESH + BLOOD. It feels incredibly good to finally be owning my role as a mentor and to start passing down the medicine and wisdom I hold. I’m taking this year for me. To unwind some gnarly and twisted patterns within myself. To come back home to my soul and essence. To spend time with my friends, nieces, and fam. And to go as slow as I want to.

Uterine position ~ where do we begin? Let me start off by saying I have zero interest in your ascension. In living in the ethers. I am all about our ability to be IN our body. To stay in our body. To be in the depths of our pelvis, the depth of who we are and be with what is. To breath into our vulva perineum and anus and allow ourselves to feel ourself fully. ... So, uterine position. Where do we begin? We begin with allowing ourselves to soften. Allowing our belly to open. We start by stopping sucking our bellies in trying to make ourselves look skinny and small. We start by allowing our belly and organs take up all the space they want, need, and deserve. Start there. And start dropping down into the depths of your oceanic buoyant self. @_infinitebody_

The position of our uterus is central of our overall health and radiance. The majority of folks I see in my practice have a tilted uterus. Their doctor has told them that it is normal and nothing to be concerned about. But it is not normal at all. Your uterus should not be tilted backwards in a retroverted or retroflexed position. Uterine position has implications on many different levels. Normal is a uterus that is free floating centred and forward in the pelvis. ... Cramps, brown/black/clotty blood, constipation, long thin stool, lower back/leg pain with your bleed are all physical signs that your uterus is tilted backward. On an energetic level this can be a sign of always putting our self on the back burner, never truly listening to the whispers of our body, not connecting to our blood or pussy, being disconnected from our truth and power. Chronic bladder infections or urgency to urinate especially closer to your bleed are signs of a uterus that has collapsed forward onto the bladder, compressing the bladder. Energetically I see this as always living in the future, worrying, anxiety, unable to stay grounded in self. The uterus can also fall over to the left or right compressing the uterine tube and ovary. This compression can be felt as pain in the opposite hip that is being pulled on. The ovary that is being compressed is typically not functioning optimally, disrupting hormone communication and ovulation. And the uterine tube can be compressed closed affecting fertility. Energetically I see this as dampening of our fire. Our ovaries are organs of the fire of creation and when they are suppressed and congested our creative fire is dampened. How we tend to our uterus matters on every level of our lives. A juicy thick centred radiant uterus is possible for every person with a womb. And if you’ve had a hysterectomy you can still work with the energetic imprint.

I have no written proof of this. Just a complete inner knowing. Total truth. That When we lived in harmony and reciprocity with the land. When we bled on the earth. When we went to the red tent. We received womb work and vulva/vaginal work as part of our normal regular care of tending to our bodies. ... Not to fix us. To deeply care for and tend to our bodies. We have lost all reverence for our bleeding bodies. It has been conditioned out of us. And we have given up our power through this conditioning. Bleeding every single month is a deep process for our bodies. Emotionally. Physically. Spiritually. It is a deep work that deserves our respect, care, and tending too. Not only when we are experiencing imbalance but as a normal part of our lives. Bears, foxes, and wolves cycle once a year. Dogs bleed twice a year. Us human mammals bleed, shed our deep internal lining, approximately 13 times a year. My deep inner knowing is that when we come to fully feel the depth and power of our bleed, everything will shift for us as a species. Bow down daily to your uterus, blood, and pussy. Your body deserves no less.

Our relationship to our breasts directly reflects our relationship to how we give and receive in life. _ Our breasts are where we give from energetically and physically. Where we nourish our babies and our creations. _ We tend to over give in our lives, self sacrifice, martyr ourselves for whatever we are supporting and growing in our lives. ... _ Our breasts literally become depleted, dried out, stagnant, and congested. This shows up physically as cysts, breast tenderness, poor milk supply, depleted heart, exhaustion, irritation, no juiciness and vibrancy in our lives. _ Receiving breast massage from a partner or a practitioner to learn how to give back to yourself is part of replenishing our breasts. Breast massage that is not goal oriented. That has nothing to do with s e c or leading to s e x. Solely about receiving nourishment. _ Our breast tissue should feel smooth as butter. Your finger glide through the tissue, no sticky spots, no lumps, bumps, or adhesions. _ Just smooth succulent buoyant breast tissue. That can receive all the nourishment from life that we need. The power of having a woman hold your pelvis and allowing whatever needs to rise, rise, is indescribable. No expectations. No goals. No assumptions. _ Just presence, acceptance, and allowing what is, to unfold. Is a powerful experience. _ An experience I wish for all women to have. To be held in their raw humanness. To be seen and heard and touched without needing to give anything back. ... _ In 2015 after the loss of my daughter at 19 weeks gestation, I was diagnosed with an incompetent cervix. Given this condition, Id always be a high risk pregnancy and would have a cerclage surgically sewn around my cervix around 12 weeks gestation for future pregnancies. Fast forward to July 2019, the cerclage had worked and we were blessed with our rainbow baby. Women are typically scheduled to have a follow up appointment 6 weeks postpartum to make sure everything down there is okay. I attended this appointment as well as 2 others and was told each time that everything was okay despite me telling them I didnt feel things were. The symptoms I was experiencing included cramping, heavy bleeding during my cycles, fevers, migraines, bloating and just an overall feeling of unwellness. At this point I feel I was being medically neglected. My bestfriend found out about Carly through Instagram and sent me her way. My first appointment was August 11, 2020 - it was a painful yet healing experience. A few days after seeing Carly, I was going to the bathroom and noticed something had fallen out of me - it was a piece of the cerclage that was about 2 inches in length with a massive knot. This had been inside of me for over a year and Im honestly surprised I didnt go septic and potentially die. To disintegrate and decay is a spiritual practice of life. _ As bleeding womxn we are given the opportunity every single month to allow our body to literally disintegrate, decay, die, let go, and fall away. Every single time we bleed this happens on a physical level and a spiritual level. _ And this is the work. This is our practice. Every single month. We are hardwired to be in sync with the rhythm of our cycle. To die and rebirth ourselves on different levels every month.... Its not easy but this is our work. _ Watching my moms body literally disintegrate every day before my eyes. To feel her tissue decaying and feel her death inching closer and closer by the day was the biggest initiation into this practice. I am still integrating watching her die, watching her body decay. _ But the one thing that I was willing to go into from the moment we found out about her tumour, was my willingness to accept it all. As much as it ripped my heart out of my body a thousand times a day I was willing to allow it to happen, not fight it. Not ask mom to do treatment. To fight for her life. I was willing to fully meet her on her journey and feel all the pain and let go of the most important person in life because honouring her was a thousand times more important than my need of her staying here. _ And now I keep going back to that lesson, bringing it into my body and my bleed. Letting go, disintegrating, decaying, and dying isnt easy. it is an absolute guaranteed part of life. And the more I soften and open into that, the less contraction, holding, tightness, and death grip I have in my body, nervous system, heart, and soul. See more

Allow your body to move in any direction that feels nourishing, stretching, compressing. Inviting old blood to move out and new blood to move into your heart _ Bring your hands to your ribcage and sternum and move your tissue with your fingers as you breath and move your heart. _ Visualize your heart being moved. Uterine centred living is living with the health and radiance of your uterus at the forefront of your mind, heart, life. _ Every decision I make lately I ask myself is this going to benefit my uterus? Because the uterus is the epicentre of our bodies and life. Every life comes from a uterus, as does every other creation that moves through you. The uterus is the place where spirit enters and leaves the body. The uterus has the power to nurture and grow life or end it. And t...o me it is the most important organ in the body. _ But in our culture the uterus is disregarded, mistreated, completely misunderstood and ignored. We are told that painful bleeds, heavy/clotty bleeding, scanty/minimal bleeding, fibroids, cysts, polyps, prolapse, tilted/retroverted uterus, endometriosis are all normal experiences of being a women. Nothing about any of these symptoms are normal, they are extremely common. Common and normal are not the same. These are all symptoms of congestion, stagnation, and disconnection in the body. _ What is normal is having a bright red pain free bleed. A uterus that lives front and centre in your pelvis hovering above the bladder. Experiencing health and radiance in the body is flow on all levels in all systems of the body. _ Uterine centred living is being devoted to your uterus thriving. It is being committed to choices that support the health and radiance of your uterus your WHOLE life. See more

I am feeling deep deep pride this morning for myself, @lalupavia , and all womxn and folx who showed up yesterday. Womxn who had been searching for support and healing in their abortion journey for a year and our workshop was the first time they found something to support them. _ Abortion remains illegal in many ...countries across our world. It is controlled by federal law, only allowed in cases of rape or incest, requires parental authorization etc in many places. And is still a part of many political agendas for one reason only. For life and death are one, even as the river and the sea are one ~ Khalil Gibran _ Ive been pro choice since I knew what menstruating was. My mom was an open book my whole life about everything. She had 2 abortions before she had my brother and I. My mom is hands down the most pro sex, pro choice, body positivity, accepting, non judgemental person Ive ever met in my life. She laid the foundation for the I work I am doing today. One of my favourite movies growing up was ...if these Walls could talk following 3 womens journey with abortion. _ And even with my moms deep influence on me and how I was brought up. I still grappled with immense shame around my abortions. For years. And that shame festered in my body. Keeping me disconnect from my pleasure, power, and true self. _ Menstrual shame is a dominant experience of the patriarchal culture we live in. Abortion is inherently tied to menstrual shame and feminine taboo. Anything that has to do with the power of the feminine has been put down, turned into a taboo, or completely ignored and that is a sign that it holds power. Immense power. _ When we realize this. And allow that realization that we are inherently powerful especially in our ability to govern our bodies ourselves and not follow the status quo, mountains move. _ Tomorrow is all about reclaiming your power and sovereignty. The first time I received intra-vaginal work from @magamamas the session rocked my world. _ It was during my first trading with Kimberly and Ellen Heed. There was about 30 + people in the training and I was the demo body for the session. _ Kimberly and I sat on the table and talked about what was up for me. It had been one year since my 3rd abortion, it was still present in my body but I thought I had done all the healing I needed around it. Little did I realize how much by...passing I was doing to my body and nervous system. Kimberly sat between my legs and started mapping my pelvis, vulva, and vagina. _ My body energetically and emotionally was still blown open and raw from the abortions. I had never received any kind of postpartum healing. And my pelvic diaphragm was locked in spasm and protection. _ At one point in the session it felt like my pelvis was going to break in half. I could not believe the amount of pressure and pain I was feeling. The amount of pressure and pain in my system I had ignored and bypassed. Kimberly met my body and my tissue exactly as it needed to be met. And moved with me and guided me through the pain. _ We have this idea in the bodywork/massage world that there should never be pain in a session. I totally disagree with that. A truly skilled practitioner will meet your body at the level it needs to be met with and guide/support you through those depths and sensations, whatever arises. _ Feeling everything I felt in that session was a wake up and monumental shift in my relationship to my pussy. _ I remember saying to Kimberly its impossible to move my leg right now I cant do it and she said oh my dear nothing is impossible and then supported me in creating that movement and space in my body. It was a revolution in my body. _ Healing takes time. Takes being met at the level we are ready to be met at. It takes guidance and support. it takes radical acceptance, love, and being guided through the depths of your body. _ Join and @lalupavia I this Saturday for a full day online retreat Healing After Abortion. Healing After Abortion online retreat is an opportunity to step out of the restraints of shame we can hold in our bodies. Shame can feel like immense pain with menstruation. Numbness. Anxiety. A straight jacket locking our bodies down. _ The whole day is an invitation to find the medicine in our abortion story and allow that medicine to permeate our whole system. We will give ourselves the opportunity to reframe our stories that hold shame, pain, or any uncomfortable negat...ive charge to locate and own our sacred yes. Because we all said yes to something in our lives through our abortion experience. And then we will use ritual and embodiment practices solidify that Yes into our bodies and nervous system, taking our power back. Healing on a deep level. _ Ive heard many womxn speak about their abortion to me saying oh that happened years ago I dont speak about that anymore or I swept that experience under the rug I dont go there anymore or I feel like Im still being punished because I had an abortion if any of these words resonate with you and your abortion experience please hear me. How I got into doing hands on hands in womxns work. Part 3. _ 2014 I am living in Salt Lake City Utah doing my Rolfing training. My boyfriend came down to see me for my birthday. I was on my period while he was there and I had a copper IUD that had been there for 2 years. I felt the exact moment I got pregnant. But kept telling myself this is impossible. Im bleeding. I have my IUD. Im sober and clean. My body is not doing this. _ I got back to Saskatoon a few weeks late...r, my blood was late, and I went into complete fucking panic. I did a couple pregnancy tests. Positive positive positive. I felt like I was dying inside. There was absolutely zero chance I was keeping the baby. My heart was breaking into a million pieces that I had to go through another abortion. The shame and guilt I felt tore me up inside. But choosing me and the life I had planned was more important than being forced or guilted into motherhood. _ When the gynaecologist pulled my IUD out it felt like a searing hot blade had just been pulled from my body and I swear I hit the roof. I bled for a month straight after my abortion. I had sharp vaginal and pelvic pain daily for months after it. My body was anemic and depleted. And my heart and spirit were broken. _ 3 months later I moved to Victoria to start my holistic doula training at the pacific rim college. I felt spiritually broken and my body felt like a complete stranger to me. My vagina felt like a black hole that I was doomed to live with for the rest of my life. _ My holistic doula training was one of the most healing experiences and eye opening trainings Ive taken. The quality of that training was beyond epic. My teachers were revolutionary and are still a part of my life. That training opened my whole body and world to womxns bodies, birth, and menstruation. _ I was also incredibly fortunate to work with a Sexological Bodywork Practitioner in Victoria. She was a 55 year old woman. Incredibly kind and caring. She rocked my world. Having this older crone woman hold and massage my vulva and vagina changed my life. And in 3 sessions we completely changed my vagina from feeling like a black hole full of shame pain and immense internal torture to feeling whole and like myself again. To feeling like pleasure would be possible again. Like my body wasnt working against me. Like I wasnt broken. She opened my body and changed my life and set me on the path of offering the most potent work I do today. _ Join @lalupuvia and I for a full day of healing after abortion. I am seeing more severe cases of Ashermans Syndrome in my practice lately. _ Adhesion and scarring inside the uterus and/or cervix caused by trauma to the endometrial lining and an over growth of scar tissue during the wound healing process. _ In many cases the front and back walls of the uterus adhere together. Scar tissue can form over the cervix orifice completely closing it.... _ Many womxn with this scar tissue formation experience increased pain at menstruation but no blood. Recurrent miscarriages, infertility, and hormonal imbalance can also be experienced with this scar tissue present inside the uterus and cervix. _ Most commonly, intrauterine adhesions occur after a dilation and curettage (D&C) that was performed because of a missed or incomplete miscarriage, retained placenta with or without hemorrhage after a delivery, or elective abortion. Pregnancy-related D&Cs have been shown to account for 90% of Asherman's Syndrome cases. Sometimes adhesions also occur following other pelvic surgeries such as Cesarean section, surgery to remove fibroids or polyps. _ If you have had a D&C and are experiencing symptoms post surgery please advocate for yourself. The cause of this scar tissue is mainly because of rough blind procedures. All D&Cs should be done guided by ultrasound but they mostly are not. This scar tissue is avoidable. All my clients that have been diagnosed had to fight for this diagnoses because doctors do not want to be held accountable for causing this harm from a rough and blind procedure. _ On August 29 join @lalupavia and I for a full day of healing our wombs after abortion and D&C procedures. How I got into doing hands on hands in womxns work. Part 2 _ When I was 20 I got pregnant for the first time. I had just come off the pill that summer and was horrified I was pregnant. I was in the deepest period of my drug addiction and becoming a mom was not an option. Mom took me to the Saskatoon sexual health centre to talk to a counsellor about my options. The counsellor recommended this one doctor for me to go to for the abortion. He was an old school white man and ha...d been a doctor forever. He was extremely kind, compassionate, and nonjudgmental. _ My experience of going through my first abortion with this man had a huge impact on my whole experience and life really. His kindness and care is something I think back to often. His care is the kind of care I wish all doctors exemplified. _ When I was 24 years old I witnessed a young woman about 18-20 who tried to give herself an abortion with a broomstick. I had no idea who she was, walked up on her laying on the ground, she looked like she was dying and bleeding out. I helped her get to the hospital. She said she didnt want the embarrassment of her family finding out she was pregnant so tried to end it herself. That experience rocked my foundation and woke a part of me up that had been dormant for what feels like lifetimes. _ Especially after my abortion experience I couldnt imagine being in a position where I felt that doing that to myself was my only option. I didnt sleep for 3 days after that. There was a fire burning deep inside me and that is when I started my deep dive research into midwifery/doula work, womens health rights and activism. _ Jump ahead to 2014 27 years old. I was just finishing my Structural Integration/Rolfing training and I got pregnant again with an IUD. I was clean from drugs 6 years at this point and sober from alcohol 2 years. I felt so betrayed by my body. I was doing all the right things. I was a good girl. I had my IUD for 2 years and it worked perfectly this whole time. I couldnt believe I was pregnant again.....the story continues...... _ @monique_pantel of me teaching womb care at @theprairiecollective_ See more

How I got into doing hands on hands in womxns work. Part 1 _ Growing up on the farm I loved being there when all the baby calves were born. From a young age, like 8, my dad would wake me up in the middle of the night to help if a mama cow was struggling to give birth. Or if a baby was born outside in the freezing cold he would put me and the frozen baby in a little heated shed and tell me to rub and massage the baby. I would massage the frozen baby calf back to life, trying... to save its ears and tail from frost bite and getting the baby dry. I loved every second of it and have seen 100s of calves born throughout my childhood. _ When I was 16 my mom and I started receiving massage and doing yoga which started to change my body in substantial ways. And when I was 17 my mom and I started doing multiple different energy work trainings. _ As soon as I graduated high school I moved to Vancouver to start my training in bodywork/massage therapy. I trained at the Vancouver School of Bodywork and Massage in 2005. That training blew me open and started me on the path to doing the work I do today. _ We had a whole blend of teachers at VSBM, some of the most gifted bodyworkers Ive ever worked with. They gave me a non-traditional massage therapy foundation that did not stem solely from western medicine philosophy. My RMT training, which all RMT training is a branch off of western medicine, was hands down the worst training I have ever done. Training at VSBM got me into my body and laid down a radical groundwork for me in cultivating my craft of bodywork. _ Training at VSBM also gave me a massive hunger for continuing education outside of the massage therapy field and a desire to train with the best people in my world. Not having that traditional RMT training right off the start was the best decision I made and is what has kept me going in this work for so long. _ I honestly have very little respect for the RMT trainings out there. FYI my opinion on this is not up for debate so dont waste your time commenting on it. Ive been in this world long enough to discern high quality training from not. _ My commitment to my craft and continually training with the best teachers is a huge part of whats driven me to doing the work I do along with my upbringing. _ Part 2 to be continued. _ @heyheatherobscura See more

Its been some time since Ive introduced myself on here. For those of you that are new I am Carly Rae previously known as wombmama on this platform. _ It is 15 years this fall that I have been doing bodywork. Almost half my life of cultivating my craft of holding bodies, supporting people in coming back home into their bodies, working tissue in a deep and potent way. I am utterly devoted to the feminine form and helping folx with vulvas learn about their anatomy and fall in... love with the body they are living in. _ I believe being educated about our bodies in a deeply embodied way is our birth rite. Weaving the sacred and the science so that we are truly informed and can make the absolute best decisions for our body, heart, and soul. _ The art of human touch is my church my god my everything. Touching people with deep reverence and benevolence is the name of my game. And I will continue to touch and hold bodies for the rest of my days no matter what our world throws our way. _ I was born on a waxing gibbous moon in April in wild rose country. To Beverly Ann Hughes and Julien Aurel Beaudry. My mom is the most powerful woman Ive ever known. My love and appreciation for her grows daily. And my heart will never be the same without her here in the physical with me. My dad is the definition of a salt of the earth man. He gave me my love for animals and hard work among many other things. I wouldnt be where I am or doing what I do if it wasnt for him. I am of mixed blood Irish Scottish English Choctaw from my mom and French from my dad. Honouring my lineages that are living through me is one of my most important missions to me. _ When I grow up I dream of being a radical rogue old school birth and death midwife for my community. Supporting the full spectrum of life birth, miscarriage, abortion, and death. _ I am humbled that so many people follow me and care about what I have to say. I appreciate this community more than words can say. _ Onward in this wild and weird fucking journey of being a human. See more

It is a rare occurrence when I feel a womb that is vibrant, buoyant, supple, aligned. 95% of the time the uterus I am touching are cold, hard, in an almost comatose state. And it is no shock to me that womxns health issues are climbing at fast rates. Infertility, endometriosis, PCOS, painful irregular periods are so common these days womxn and the medical system think of it as the norm. _ But these imbalances are not normal at all. We are not meant to have stagnant, exhaus...ted, congested wombs and pelvic bowls. _ We have not been educated about our bodies and how to live truly vibrant nourishing lives. We have not been educated how to feed and nourishing our wombs in connection with our cycles and rhythms. We have not been empowered to place ourselves and our health first so we can live from healthy and rooted place. _ It takes your breath away when you meet a womxn that is living from a vibrant rooted pelvic bowl. Her nervous system radiates a calm grounded strength like no other. My dream is for all womxn to experience living from this place. _ This is a thank you for the awesome Womb Work that I received from you Carly. I had developed a prolapsed bladder and heard of Avigo Massage. She has returned my bladder to the correct position after 6 sessions and it has stayed in correct position. It is amazing. Seems unbelievable but it is true. _ I also have ulcerative colitis issues with my bowel for the past 50 plus years. I am currently 78 years old. After Womb Work sessions with Carly Rae, I now have a very comfortable happy bowel with no issues which is miraculous for me. _ Thank you Carly Rae for the wonderful happy feelings in my belly. My mom was a sex worker on the streets of Vancouver between 1975-1982 from age 13-20. Working the streets is one of the most dangerous things a girl can do. Her survival of the streets at such young tender age is part of what has shaped the womxn I am today. I feel her resilience and dont fuck with me attitude course through my veins every second of the day. _ Ive known my whole life about my moms history. That she was molested by uncles starting at 4 years old, her time... on the streets, her addiction to hard drugs. Not much was hidden in our family. _ In 1981 one of my moms best friends, a girl she worked the streets with, went missing. It was later discovered my moms friend was one of the girls murder by Robert Pickton, at least 27 confirmed murders, likely closer to 50, possibly as many as 100 all women, most of them prostitutes from the land that is currently known as Vancouver. He is one of Canadas most prolific serial killers. _ My mom was one of the lucky ones. She wasnt one of the girls murdered and fed to pigs by Pickton. Or one of the 1000s of other missing and murdered Indigenous Women across Canada. _ I do not celebrate Canada day. I do not celebrate white supremacy and the genocide of generations of First Nations people across Turtle Island. And I never will. _ Today I let my tears fall onto Mother Earth, place my hands on her, and pray for all the MMIW and women fed to Picktons pigs. I map and do self anal work regularly. Mapping my anus, external sphincter, and anal canal. My body is opening unlike ever before. My digestion is happier. And the pleasure I feel in my body is deepening and expanding. _ One thing that really bugs me about the explosion of pussy work and yoni therapists is that 90% of these people are totally leaving the almighty anus of the picture. And when that happens you areworking with the body from a segmented, linear, spot treatment ...focus. _ Do you see in this image how thick the external anal sphincter is? And how not paying any attention to this tissue is denying a whole world of shifting, softening, opening, and expanding for your pelvic diaphragm and your whole body/being. _ Anal work is the royal road to the nervous system @ellenheed. Incorporating self anal work into your life will shift your body, drop layers of shame, and deepen your self relationship in deep and beautiful ways. Being in touch with your anus is grounding unlike any other form of touch work Ive experienced. _ A deep dive guided journey into self pelvic diaphragm work, anus included, coming soon. See more

this is the burden you bear as a womxn _ This belief has been rampant across our world for way too fucking long. _ The normalization of bladder, uterine, rectal prolapse in womxns bodies is directly linked to the shift out of our matriarchal way of living. This shift out of our matriarchal society suppressed womxns health and bodies. And is driving a society of unwell and suffering folx. ... _ The amount of womxn and folx with uteri that are living with a prolapse, believing that this is just what happens as we age or after having babies is wrong. And living with a prolapse is completely unnecessary and 100% preventable. _ Feeling like your organs/vagina is going to fall out of your body on a daily basis is no way to live. Feeling like your body is going to collapse or give out on you is extremely stressful. And the amount of womxn I see that have been told this is just the way it is at every age makes me want to rage. _ Prioritizing our pelvic, vulva, and vaginal health needs to happen. Having a juicy happy hydrate responsive powerful vagina at every single age needs to become our priority. And trust me this can happen. When we stop believing the bullshit story that has never prioritized womxns and folx with uteris bodies. When we unlearn our conditioning and decolonize our bodies. Our relationship to ourselves becomes the centre of the spiral of healing. _ Healing your prolapse at any age is possible. Enjoying your genitals, feeling strong, and fluid in your body is possible. And experience the pleasure and joy in your body is your birthright. _ This is a thank you for the awesome Womb Work that I received from you Carly. THE POSITION OF OUR WOMBS MATTERS. Most women have had the experience of being told by allopathic practitioners: "Your uterus is tilted, but it's okay. Most women's are. The position of your uterus doesn't matter." HOWEVER, the traditional guardians of women's health across the planet (most often the midwives) know that: The position of our uterus is CENTRAL to our health and well-being. . The uterus sits inside the pelvic bowl as a 'free floating' organ, held in place by li...gaments. Menstrual cramps are most often a sign that our uterus is tilted. Menstrual cramps are common, but they ARE NOT NORMAL. We are designed for the uterine lining/blood of menstruation to EASILY come out of us, WHEN our uterus is in its centered, upright position. The uterus is a muscle, and if it is 'tilted,' then our uterus needs to CONTRACT in order to move the tissue and blood out. When the uterus is brought into its rightful place - cramps DISAPPEAR. . In the front of the uterus sits our bladder. If our uterus is is 'tilted' forward, it is then pressing on our bladders. This could look like: chronic urinary tract infections or frequency of urination. . To the back of the uterus, is our rectum. A 'retroverted' or 'retroflexed' uterus then is pushing into our rectum. This could look like: pencil thin stools or a feeling of constipation - even when you are eating enough health fats and fiber // exercising // sufficiently hydrated. . To the sides of the uterus sit the ovaries. If the uterus is titled to either side, it can be squashing into an ovary. This can impact the communication that should be happening between the ovaries and the pituitary gland. Our bodies then will often release more hormones then necessary, manifesting as MIGRAINE HEADACHES around the time we bleed. . How to tend to all of these matters and so much more: Connect with those in your community who are offering UTERINE MASSAGE/UTERINE TREATMENTS. All traditional medicinal systems had this form at one point in time. Find the practitioners you feel good/right/safe with and receive care. Often times one session can alleviate YEARS of discomfort. Vaginal steaming. Vulva mapping. Womb work. Breast work. Vaginal mapping. Are all anti-racist healing practices _ Repost @steamychick Thank you to everyone fighting for justice and thank you to all of the muted pages amplifying black voices at this time. Racism usually isn't a popular topic and it's not something people usually want to get into a conversation about so I haven't really explained on this platform before how vaginal steaming is anti-racist. Here's a brief ...explanation. [Alert -- if you do not know the history of gynecology this may be very triggering.] ... ... ... The founder of modern day gynecology was a slave owner named J.Marion Sims. He used his enslaved servants (women and children) for surgical experiments. It is unknown how many people he killed during these experiments. What we do know is that once he learned how to perform uterine surgery without killing someone Sims opened up a university to train other doctors how to perform this surgery on white women with anesthesia so they wouldn't feel pain. Modern day gynecology still uses the tools and methods developed by Sims and glorifies him as the grandfather of gynecology. ... ... Reclaiming vaginal steaming is the return to a gentle method of care used by female physicians before Sims took over the field. It's the return to a method of care that didn't depend on cutting up enslaved black bodies. It's the acknowledgment that white males don't know everything about treating the female body and that there are other treatment methods that weren't created by them that may be useful for uterine health. ... ...
