Night Owl Bird Hospital 29.10.2020

Its always baffling that so many people in our avian community still seek out breeders as a way to bring a new bird into their family. Are they not aware of the vast number of birds in rescues that are in need of loving homes? Yes, the application process can be lengthy and invasive the reason for this is to ensure that these birds DO find their forever homes and DO NOT end up back in a rescue scenario. ... If you have a loving home and are confident that you can offer a forever home we urge you to reach out to your local bird rescue and apply.

*** COVID-19 UPDATE*** Effective immediately, Night Owl Bird Hospital will be limiting the traffic coming into our hospital. We ask that clients call us from the parking lot when they arrive at the hospital to arrange for staff to wait at the front door to admit patients in. ... 604-734-5100 Our veterinarian or assistant will then speak with you over the phone/or outside to obtain patient history, discuss examination, and go over treatment plans. If you require food or medications, we ask that you call before arriving to arrange payment and so that we can get your order ready. Please call again when you are in the parking lot and a staff member will bring your birds food/medications to you. To ensure that we are available to provide on-going care for all of our patients, we ask that you communicate your needs so that we can accommodate everyone in need while taking as many precautions as we can.
