Perhaps a long post, but I hope you find it worth the read. I address some ideas around physician assisted death as well as our views of other's love for us as well as the suffering often associated with dying.

I encourage you to read this brief, straight forward account of a family's anguish as a result of the red tape that is our current medical assistance in dying process. This story reminds me so much of my own father's passing which occurred in a time when MAID was not even an option. It is sad that, while the option is "available", it is almost as difficult to access as it was when it was not yet legislated.
