As the weather is starting to get rougher, don't forget to take along your Mustang Survival PFD for those stormy days out on the water. These award-winning PFDs are designed with serious users in mind, and their Hydrostatic Inflator Technology (HIT) causes the PFD to inflate upon being submerged in 4-inches of water, while also requiring little maintenance for up to 5-years, or until the PFD has been inflated. Stay safe out there everyone! ... Photo by @justingeikephoto on Instagram of Mustang ambassador @unforgettable_virginia

Do you have a descending device on your boat? Our favourite is the SeaQualizer descending device, as these tools are the easiest to use and will automatically release the fish when the device reaches the appropriate depth.. For rockfish conservation, a rockfish that is caught unintentionally should be descended to an appropriate depth within two minutes of being surfaced, so that the fish does not die due to barotrauma. Therefore, it is important to have a descending device c...lose at hand on your boat at all times to protect these fish. Learn more at https://www.pac.dfo-mpo.gc.ca//rockfish-sebaste-dd-eng.html
