Recently, Algoma University Musicians-in-Residence, the Duo Turgeon, performed as members of the Canadian Piano Quartet with pianists Elizabeth Laich and Marcel... Bergmann for Acadia Concerts in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. The Wolfville visit included a performance for students of Acadia University’s Music Department. After Nova Scotia, the Turgeons headed to New Brunswick for a Canadian Piano Quartet Performance in Dalhousie which included the world premiere of a new composition for two pianos entitled The Planned Obsolescent, by Acadian composer Danielle Savage. Duo Turgeon’s upcoming concerts include seven performances throughout Alberta and British Columbia during October 2019.
