So we are back to painting in September so bring your brush and come join us! The winter will put as back to our fundraising efforts to keep this restoration project moving forward. We are grateful to the Province for the Historic Resources Foundation Conservation Grant that have assisted in covering some of our costs this year and the Red Deer County. We continue to seek donations both large and small. If you believe in preserving the history of this house donations can be made on line through historicmarkerville.com A BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO HAVE GIVEN SUPPORT!
The Marshall Brothers began to build the forms & pour the cement for the house footings. Doesn't the Buttermaker House look cold & lonely waiting for it's return home??
After our project was moved safely, Brian McKnight performed the job of removing the old foundation in preparation for the new one to be built.
Last week was a very busy week for the little house! Thanks to Warkentin Building Movers for carefully moving the house!
Exciting!! Warkentin Building Movers prepped the house today for moving tomorrow. Things are happening! As you can see, the house is resting on beams at the end of preparation. I think John is pretty brave to be standing under the house!!
Create a team of 5 players & get in on the fun!
