This editorial should resonate with many parents and educators. We are doing everything we can to make adjustments to our classrooms so that we can protect agai...nst transmission of the coronavirus and we are doing everything we can so that students can keep up with the curriculum while learning at home. But the fact is that academics is not a priority at this time. And that is not to diminish the importance of academics. But it should not be something that creates undue stress and anxiety at home or at school. We should do our best, but let's remember that this is a truly unprecidented time in the history of mankind. Adapting to these health challenges is our top priority. Let's adjust our expectations accordingly. Remember that there is more to "education" than academics.
