Canadians with LD, please take a few minutes to fill out this survey. It is time for the way our country advocates for and protects it's citizens with learning disabilities. There are so many simple changes that can be made to help on so many levels.

I am looking forward to my conversation with Lynn Givens this Thursday. Reading comprehension is the end goal of reading instruction and it opens the doors to countless opportunities. We plan on talking about the different skills a reader needs to develop so that they can understand and learn from what they read.

You may not know this, but I am severely dyslexic. Every day I face challenges because of my dyslexia. October is #DyslexiaAwarenessMonth and I thought I would share one of those struggles with you today. I still struggle with reading and I cannot read fast enough to read the captions on videos.
