CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND

Hello Everyone and Happy New Year! The Main Curling Club had a virtual meeting recently and it was decided to cancel the remaining curling season. The Curling Club Executive will be holding its Annual meeting as soon as they can and would like anyone interested in helping next season to try and make this meeting. Please stay tune for the exact date being posted here on our Facebook page. With the new extended Covid-19 restrictions, the meeting may not be scheduled until some time in February. Thanks, stay safe and healthy, we miss ALL of our members and the GREAT sport of curling we love so much.

The main Curling Club Executive had a meeting last night and with the numbers starting to get worse for COVID-19 in the Province the Executive decided not to put the ice in at this point of the season. The Executive will continue to monitor the situation throughout the next two months and will meet again in December to make a decision to either cancel the remaining curling season or start the curling season in January, after New Year. We are sorry to share this sad news with ...ALL our Members and hope that by the New Year we can get back to some normalcy and salvage half of the curling season. Stay safe and let us hope the second wave is mild if it does return and that ALL members of our club and our community continues to practice safe distances and the wearing of a mask. Our numbers in Northern Ontario have been good, let's keep it that way! Thank you.

Good evening, Please be advised that all curling including any bonspiels have been cancelled for the rest of the year.... Elmer we let us know at what time they are going to clean the club this Wednesday. Also please spread the word that the A.G.M is scheduled for April 26th at 7:00 PM. The club will be Open this Monday March 16th from 6:00PM to 7:30 Pm and Tuesday march 17th from 10:00 to 11:00 am foe anyone that needs to pick up anything from the club / lockers.

The rest of the teams are tied at 7-4 and therefore it comes down to the cumulative Last Stone Draw shots for seeding. It will be ON vs. WC and NO vs. CA playing in the first tiebreaker at 9 a.m. ET. Winners advance to the second tiebreaker at 2 p.m. ET. Winner of the second TB advances to the 3v4 game at 7 p.m. ET. The 1v2 game will be played at 2 p.m. ET.
