Fresh off the press! Here is a budget summary which is very informative.
It is always good to be organized!
Parents - file a tax return for your 18 and 19 year old (as of 12/31/2020) children even if they have no income. Especially in Alberta, Ontario, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan where they will get a Climate Action Incentive (CAI) refund of $490 (AB), $300 (ON), $360 (MB), or $500 (SK). That is on top of the GST credit they will also receive.
This is a very moving and eye opening quick video on the why have critical illness coverage. It is very much worth the 3 minute watch. Dr. Barnard was a regular speaker at the World Critical Illness Conference many years ago.his words, we created CI because we realized that we saved a person’s life on the operating table but their family would be better off if they died (because of the life insurance)what a horrible situation to have’. I have never forgotten that message.
Happy Holidays to you all. I know this is going to be a very different holiday season for everyone. Stay safe and be well!! I want all of my kind hearted clients to know that their backing the decision for us not to mail out our annual Christmas cards and use that cost to donate to the food bank has resulted in 480 meals being provided for those in great need. Thank you so much for the support !! Togther, we can accomplish great things. ... I hope 2021 is a healthy, happy, joyful and memorable year for all. Thank you so much for trusting me to help guide you and your family in creating your financial well-being!

Smile for the day!
2020 has been a year which has made us think about things we often avoid. Never has there been a greater sense of mortality than now, which makes me ask, Are you insured adequately to protect your loved ones ,family, business or estate in the event of unexpected death or illness? The solution can be affordable and much easier than you think. Peace of mind is of the utmost importance.

The pandemic has certainly caused many people’s vision for the future to be rapidly changed due to illness and financial changes. Have you or your advisor reviewed your financial plans, estate plan/will and insurance to ensure all is in good order?
Budgeting can make a big difference in both your ability to save for retirement, as well as help you keep your monthly expenses on track during these challenging times. As the old saying goes, If you watch your pennies your dollars will take care of themselves.
This is a good summary of proposed government enhancements and benefits during these challenging times.
