Dundas St. W. looking northwest to St. Paul The Apostle Church, 1974 and 2019. St. Paul The Apostle is a Maltese-Canadian Parish, under the pastoral care of th...e Missionary Society of St. Paul. It was established in 1930 on a property purchased from Julius Kostur who had also owned the Maria Street Meat Market. The "40 Junction" trolley coach replaced the Dundas streetcar north of Bloor in 1968. The last of the TTC's electric trolley coaches were replaced by diesel buses in 1992. 1974 photo was taken by Roberta Hill and is now in Rob Hutchenson's collection. 2019 photo was taken by WTJHS volunteer Trevor PS.

Have you seen the Heritage Toronto plaque on Dundas St. W. by Malta Park? The plaque was installed in 2014 and explains the history of the Maltese community in the Junction. There is also an old photo of St. Paul The Apostle Church.
