(Copied from our facilitator Samara) Please share Empty Arms is a local peer to peer support group that connects families who have experienced pregnancy and ...infant loss to a network of other families who know and understand. With October 15 being Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness day coming up just around the corner, we’re crafting a strategy to ensure a light is shone on an issue that impacts 1 in 4 pregnancies. Specifically, we’re looking to hear from families who have experienced a loss during COVID and received their care at Victoria General Hospital. We have heard through our community that important support services like access to birthing support people like doulas, and photographers, have been restricted - even during pregnancy loss events. We’d like to explore your experience, if any, of these restrictions and hear how you have been impacted. Please reach out by DM, email at [email protected], as soon as possible. Please feel free to share this if you know someone who might be interested. We’re listening
Come out and bring your babies and bumps tomorrow to Here We Grow ‘s Picnic in the Park!
See you next Friday!
