Update on Summer Programs Due to the ongoing pandemic, GlideAbility Skating Scools with not be operating this summer in any of their regular locations in Ontari...o. Had a fantastic class with our pre-glider and gliders in Bala at the Bala Sportsplex. We still have some space available, its not too late to join our program! If any of our Gravenhurst skaters would like to switch it to the Bala program for 12 noon especially the pre-gliders we can make that happen! Very small enrolment in Bala so we have room :) The winter session in Bala and Gravenhurst is brought to you by the #balacranberryfestival with a generous donation of a communi...ty Grant for both locations. We are still looking for coaches and volunteers for Sunday morning at 9 a.m in Gravenhurst. and 12 noon in Bala. See you at the rink?

Congrats to our amazing skaters for Sunday glideability Muskoka has Glider Challenge! They have all improved so much and it's very hard pick one most improved because they all did most improved! Excited to see our figure skating grow as well as our learn to skaters that want to move on to hockey or ringette! Hi Skating families! So we are ready to go. So glad to see some skater’s join us on the Charlie Brown Skating Float! We have a Charlie Brown, Linus, and Peppe...rmint Patty We need a Lucy, Sally, Schroeder with a piano, a snoopy doll/stuffy. I will be on the Float with the kids while One of the Parents drives us. If you have sweaters the same colour as the characters please wear over snow pants and coats. Can be adult sizes over kids clothing. You can bring skates to wear or wear over the shoulder. The bottom of the trailer is wood and we will have a blue cover over it to resemble lake ice which will also protect the skates. I do have some skate guards available. The float will be decorated with snow ice rink boards, outdoor skating background with GlideAbility logo on the back. We even have a Charlie Brown tree :). We will hand out vouchers, lollipops and stickers to the crowds promoting GlideAbility. Please be at my house, 260 violet street for 9:30 if you want to help decorate. I will have hot chocolate, coffee and donuts available. We have to line up across the street from my at 10:15 for parade start of 11 am ending at 12. Let me know if you have any questions and feel free to confirm you are joining us. We can always drop kids off at the end of the parade to watch the remainder as we are in the first half of the parade line. I am hoping coaches Grace and Brandon can join us for this fun activity! We will also be participating in the Bracebridge Santa Claus Parade on Dec 1 if anyone can join us. See you at the rink!
