Coaches always say "stay on your toes". What does that mean? It doesn’t mean stand on your tip toes. It means keep your weight on the balls of your feet for better movement and mobility. To see what I mean, throw a right cross and if you feel the weight transfer past your toes, you’re not staying on the balls of your feet. Throw your cross and if you feel the weight go beyond the toes of your lead foot you're off balance and vulnerable to a hit. So stay off those toes and sta...y on the balls of your feet and you'll regain control of your balance while throwing punching, moving and defending in your guard. Make fitness a fun, family affair! This fall, No Excuse is inviting parents and kids to get fit and have fun together. Starting on Sunday November 22 and running until Sunday December 20, No Excuse is offering a special Sunday morning- 9:30am- boxing class designed just for adults and kids. Parent and Kid Combo Class puts parents, aunts, uncles or grandparents and kids together to participate in a fun and challenging boxing-style workout. Expect to run some boxing drills, ski...p and hit the heavy bag, partner accountability drills and more. Parents and kids will get their heart rate up and work up a sweat together! This class is all about finding the fun in fitness and is designed to bring out the kid in everyone.
