Hey there, been getting a lot of questions from people today after the NS government announced a plan to open a lot of things up again. Unfortunately, the driver training industry does not have an industry standard for how to proceed so we have to get our plan approved by the provincial government and see if they are okay with us not ‘social distancing’ in the car if we take precautions. Hoping you are all safe and healthy out there! We’ve had some questions lately about expiry dates for licences. If you have a licence that will be expiring while Access NS is closed, you may find the following chart helpful...in a nutshell you get an extra 5 months added onto the normal expiry.

Class/Lesson Update: as many of you have heard, the province of NS has just declared a state of emergency to help stop the spread of COVID-19. With stiff fines imposed for not following social distancing rules of 2 meters, we will be temporarily unable to provide our services due to the close proximity of student-instructor in the training vehicles. The state of emergency will last 2 weeks, and then the situation will be reviewed. If you have lessons booked in the next two weeks you should check with your instructor prior to the scheduled time to ask about re-booking. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and will be back doing lessons with our awesome students ASAP! Be well and stay safe!

Anyone remember snowmageddon back in January 2020? I was so glad I popped my wipers before it snowed...so I could find the car!

On a brighter note, students wishing to begin in-car time will have some more free time in the coming weeks, so let us know if you want to get started! Be well!

One of our favourite instructors, Andrew, is starting a new career with Royal Lepage Truro Real Estate today after 10 years with Roadworthy! Andrew wants all his current and upcoming students to know that for the time being, there will be no interruption to lessons, or courses with Andrew as a result of this new adventure that Andrew is embarking on.
