Starting yesterday Registered Massage Therapists under the Canadian Massage & Manual Osteopathic Therapy Association now require WRITTEN and VERBAL consent to treat the following areas: Inner Thigh Gluteal Chest... Breast Groin This needs to be done at every appointment. We have mock forms made up right now but will be perfecting those over the coming weeks.

VERY IMPORTANT PLEASE READ We are experiencing some difficulties with insurance companies. Melanie has been changing her name to her married name however the pandemic has created major delays - things that should be done right away are taking weeks. Phone calls on hold for hours and emails with a supposed 72 hr turnaround are still unanswered WEEKS later. My registration now reflects my married name, however the insurance companies I contacted weeks ago have not updated my in...formatiom and instead are just rejecting claims. Jena is registered through the CMMOTA official date being January 19 2021, however some insurance companies are so delayed in updating their information that she is not seen as registered on their end. PLEASE INFORM US ASAP if you are having any trouble at all with your insurance provider. This is all 100% fixable with a little (a lot) of time on hold and refusal to hang up and be contacted within 72 hrs. We will do everything we can, this is just one more wall we have to walk into. Please note I understand your frustration, and I am just as frustrated as you. These processes used to be quick and painless, I could speak to someone right away, I could submit a change request and here back within a day. I literally have to take days off from work just to sit on hold for hours. Please be patient with us as we navigate through this.

In case you have missed the updates, our incredibly talented Lash Technician Abby Quimsom with Lash Theory has upgraded her education and is now a certified Aesthetician offering facials and skin care under a new business name Skintasmic Lash&Beauty! Yesterday I had my first HydroGlow Facial and not only was it luxurious, it had so many levels of care, it was so relaxing and I finished it off with one of her peels. It smelled SO GOOD. My absolute favourite thing is having my face steamed and she does that throughout the service. If you have any questions head on over to her page and book in for your own personal care.
