Now is the time to stay diligent. We need to vaccinate the vulnerable and do our part to keep one another safe . Yes, this extension is disappointing. We miss our families and our friends. However, we feel strongly that we are heading into a brighter future and must cooperate and comply. If you have any questions, we are happy to help and educate based on the recent research. Our clinic protocols remain the same: medical mask required, restricted number of patients in the w...aiting room, hand washing and sanitizing a must. Stay safe and be kind! Current public health orders and restrictions are extended until February 5, to bring down COVID-19 case counts in BC. We continue to see high transmission rates through social gatherings. PHO restrictions mean all British Columbians must only socialize with people who live in their households (or core bubble, if you live alone). Everyone must continue to avoid any non-essential travel. Now is the time to stay home, and do your part to keep our hospitals, schools, and workplaces safe. We will get through this by pulling together. See details: www.gov.bc.ca/COVID19restrictions #covidbc #covid19 #stayathome #wearamask #essentialtravelonly #doyourpart #britishcolumbia #provinceofbc

From our clinic to our amazing patients- a heartfelt THANK YOU! Thank you for standing by us through this crazy year! We never anticipated that we would close our doors for over two months when we kicked off 2020! When Sam graduated school at the beginning of this year, taking 9 weeks off (and not travelling) was certainly not part of her new business plan! No, this year may not have gone according to plan, but we are still so thankful. Like you, we can look back on all that ...2020 brought and cringe. Yet we are ending this year with smiles instead. Throughout all of this, you have stuck with us. You patiently waited with us for Dr Henry to allow us to practice again. And when she did, we were flooded with your love, warmth and support. We truly missed you during our time off and were genuinely concerned for the well-being of your health. To top it all off, when it was time to care for our community, you did. Our Angel Tree was a hit again this year. Kids will be opening gifts this Christmas that may otherwise would have gone without. So thank you, from the bottom of our hearts!

The best message from a happy patient! Happened to catch a post of this mama doing headstands at 35 weeks pregnant! Trying everything to get baby to turn head down. After mentioning that chiropractic might help, she booked in and - voila! Baby is head down and ready for her big moment to come Earth side! It isn’t magic, but it works! #pregnancy #chiropractor #holistichealthcare #chiropracticandpregnancy #prenatal #prenatalhealth #chiropracticadjustment #pregnancyfitness #chiropracticworks #chiropracticcare

Want to be an angel this year? Our annual Angel Tree is back up! Thanks to @deltassist for making this happen, despite all the COVID regulations! Instead of purchasing gifts for the angels this year, they will be monetary donations. The office will store your donations in a safe place and they will be picked up regularly by Delta Assist. Happy Holidays!

Thanks for the tag The Birth Hive! We absolutely agree that chiropractic care should be part of your pre and postpartum care! Repost @thebirthhive with @get_repost ... If you're looking for proactive ways to get your mind and body for birth, you're in the right place 'cause this is my JAM! 1 I want your pelvis balanced + aligned so that we can give your baby the best chance to maneuver into the best position for easy passage BEFORE your labour starts. Schedule three visits at 37, 39, 41 weeks with a Webster's Certified chiropractor (you can always cancel). 2 Several times a day, make your body go limp from your forehead all the way down to your toes. That total physical body relaxation helps with progression during birth. Figure out how to do it on demand now, so that you can apply it during labour. 3 Consuming dates is said to help shorten your overall birth - and this is actually backed by evidence. Just make sure you're actually eating dates and not PRUNES like I did for 5 weeks 4 Spinning Babies' inverted triangle is another daily practice to help encourage baby into good positioning (visit www.spinningbabies.com for demo). 5 Ideally, you've already seen a Pelvic Floor physio at around 28 weeks. This refresher visit is important so they can review your pelvic floor tone and pushing strategies. Yeah - your doula/doc/nurse can help with pushing strategies but a pelvic floor physio? They're experts. 6 Stay active. That means walking, sitting on a birth ball, stretching, doing squats, etc. Laying around on the couch all day is nice but it does nothing to proactively prepare your body for birth. Sorry, not sorry. 7 Positive Birth Stories ONLY - whether online or offline. Someone's got something less than stellar to say? Now is not the time. Shut. That. Down. Blame it on me if you need to! 8 Regularly spend time on your hands and knees (or leaning over a chair). We're using gravity to pull the heaviest part of baby (their back) up against your tummy. With the new mandates, masks are now mandatory in all chiropractic offices. While we have always practiced this, we want to let you know that it is now required at a level above our own practice. Thank you for your continued cooperation.

This weekend Dr Bonnie came out with new and strict guidelines we must adhere to for the next two weeks. We want to let you know that we are still open, and with the utmost care and cleanliness. Your safety is our biggest priority! While hugging may not be allowed, you can always come in for an adjustment! #Repost @governmentofbc with @get_repost... Many of us miss our friends and family and the physical connection of hugging. See more

Whether you are working from home, or back in an office setting, making sure you are sitting and moving with good posture is very important! Ask your chiropractor for some stretches to help alleviate neck pain, back pain or any other feelings of stiffness and soreness.
